בצלאל: זיין פארגאנגאנהייט געגענווארט און צוקונפט - Bezalel - history, essence, future, By Boris Schatz. Zionistische Kapike-Bibliatek Publishing. Odessa, 1910. One of the early and unknown publications of the 'Bezalel' art school in its early years - only four years after its establishment in 1906. Many photographs of the school departments and more by Zadok Basan and impressive decorations by Jacob Stark (Ben David) throughout the booklet.

In the introduction of Menachem Ushishkin, he specifies the vision of Bezalel: "To develop a taste for every beautiful and magnificent and create Jewish art, a clear Jewish style ... to wake up the Land of Israel to beautiful Jewish life ...", and adds that Prof. Boris Satz is the only person can explain the vision as it appears in the booklet before us. In the first pages, Boris Statz tells the way of thinking and experience that shaped his general view of art. and how according to them he built the various departments in the school. He later tells of his relationship with theodore Herzl, and how he encouraged him to head 'Bezalel'. In the booklet, Satz explains in length the school part in building the country and its renewable culture, explaining how every class at the school is managed by the greatest artists, and more. The booklet is accompanied by rare photographs from the school in its early years - the various art departments, the museum, the students in their work, a rare photograph of the school students in reminding the Herzl soul, and many more.
