The issues of the rare magazine edited by Moshe Shalit were published in the Warsaw once every four months. It was a cultural-historical issue published in the years 1937-1938, in collaboration with the historical-ethnographic society named after S. An-Ski. And dealt with Eastern European culture and the struggle between Hasskalah and rabbinate, and in archival Hebrew materials. In the years when the magazine was published there was a dramatic increase in anti-Semitism in Warsaw, even before the German occupation of Warsaw there were about 360,000 Jews - close to the number of Jews in Eretz Israel at that time. In the years 1934-1936, pogroms broke out against Jews in Polish cities. In 1937 there were mass attacks on Jews on the streets of Warsaw. Despite this, in those years Hebrew Magazines were printed in Warsaw in greater numbers than in Eretz Israel.
