Entry ticket to the soccer games at the 20th Olympics held in Munich in 1972. The ticket is dated September 5, 1972 at 4:30 p.m. - exactly half an hour after the International Olympic Committee decided to stop all competitions following the murder and taking of the Israeli athletes as hostages by the terrorists from the organization "Black September" on the same day.

The day of the massacre, September 5, was the 12th day of the Olympics. That same day, the terrorists murdered seven members of the Israeli delegation, and some of them were already taken hostage by the terrorists. Despite this, the International Olympic Committee was in no hurry to stop the games for various reasons and initially decided that the Olympics would continue as planned despite the murder of the two Israelis and the hostage taking, and the competitions continued for another 7 hours. Finally, in light of the tragic developments, it was decided to stop them at 16:00 in the afternoon. Exactly half an hour before the time when the football game was supposed to take place, for which the entrance ticket before us was for. Those hours were the peak hours in terms of negotiations and the rescue attempt that were in the focus of the media, in the midst of a canceled Olympics. At the same time, it was decided to hold a memorial service the next morning for the two murdered, who later became eleven.

The massacre of the athletes at the Munich Olympics was a Palestinian terrorist incident that took place on September 5-6, 1972, during the twentieth Olympics held in Munich in West Germany. During the event, eleven members of the Israeli Olympic delegation were murdered: athletes, coaches and judges, by Palestinian terrorists from the "Black September" organization.

15x11 cm. The tear on the lower right indicates that the card was used, and its owner was already present at the football stadium. Very Good Condition.
