12 postcards sent from a soldier in the Jewish Brigade to the land of Israel. Italy, 1945.
In one of the postcards, the brigade soldier named "Zvi" wrote to his uncle instructive words about identifying the bodies of his parents who were murdered during the Holocaust:
"Concerning my visits to Lithuania - I ask, if you think, Do you think it is possible to recognize the corpses of people in a large pit after 4 years. If there is such a possibility, I will apply for a visit to Russia to bury my parents corpse in the grave of Israel, and I would like to clarify there also the dates of the murders, because the refugees who came from Russia do not remember the exact dates ... I would like to visit there, even if its would cause me great pain. On this occasion, I might be able to find books by our relatives in Vilnius ... my father's הי"ד speech notebooks, and move them to the country. The letters are all written on postcards with sights from different cities in Italy. In addition, apears a real photo postcard folder containing 32 photographs from important historical sites in Italy, Which belonged to the soldier of the brigade
