Engravings depicting various scenes from the Torah: Abraham and the three angels, Moses taking water out of the rock, Aaron's headquarters, and sleep falling upon Avraham, Moshe and sorcerers - the staffs become crocodiles.

Hot's engravings were notable for their faithful loyalty to the language of the Bible. for example, in painting the angels without wings, their faces feminine, innocent. In his scenes he was one of the first to convey the sense of reality as it is despite the spirituality of the Bible.
