In the booklet, dozens of photographs taken by French information units in the midst of the war, showing French soldiers alongside residents of North African countries who joined them in the war against the German-Italian Axis armies starting in January 1941. The booklet also reviews the war in Rommel’s army and the heavy losses suffered by the German army in the face of the combined force of France and Britain. Each photograph is briefly depicted in a heroic way that glorifies the impressive ability of the French army. At the end of the booklet, it is written about the rarity of the photographic negatives through which the booklet was produced.
