Halacha answer in the handwriting and signature of the genius Rabbi Shmuel Halevi Wozner regarding a sick who is in danger and the eating does not add to his medicine and torment does not harm him, should he have fast on Yom Kippur.

In his renewed answer , the genius ruled that even such a sick as tortured did not harm him, and eating does not Strengthens it, allow him to eat on Yom Kippur, at least in the manner of eating half a Quantity, and supports his opinion on the Ramba"n, and the Radba"z adding that it does not belong to this rule - "a great soul will aggravate himself" Because in our case, damage could happen, and things were not said in a place where there could be damage.

The famous genius of Rabbi Shmuel Halevi Wozner, [1913-2015], owner of "Shevet Halevi", one of the greatest poskim of the last generation. Born in Vienna, he studied with Rabbi Shmuel David Unger of Nitra and Rabbi Yosef Elimelech Kahana of Ungvar. Later he studied with Rabbi Meir Shapira and the Mashgiach there, Rabbi Shimon MiZlihov. He immigrated to Eretz Israel with his wife in 1939. First lived in Jerusalem on Hoshea Street. Rabbi Wozner studied with Rabbi Yosef Zvi Dushinsky, and made a shimush with Rabbi Shimshon Aharon Polonsky of Taplik. After a short time, he was appointed by the ultra-Orthodox community and Rabbi Dushinsky to the court and rabbi on her behalf to the Kerem Avraham and Geula neighborhoods. In the year 1947, moved to Bnei Brak , following the recommendation of the Hazon Ish, and served as a rabbi and Av Beit Din of Zichron Meir neighborhood. Rabbi Wozner has become one of the greatest poskim He had an accepted halakhic authority in all circles, His thousands answering, were printed in eleven volumes of his book Responsa "Shevat Halevi".
