Historical issue of Time magazine - documenting the trial of Nazi war criminals in Nuremberg - December 10, 1945 - in the midst of the "main trial" in which the Nazi war criminals who were directly responsible for carrying out the "Final Solution" were put on trial, during the first part of the hearings and indictments, before their execution. Rare.

The American weekly Time magazine that deals extensively with the Nuremberg trials and the reaction of Nazi war criminals to the accusations leveled against them. The reporter describes the historical events in the courtroom, when, for the first time, the grave crimes against the Jews committed during the war years were exposed to their own eyes and to the entire world. The issue presents the evidence presented in court, and describes one of the most memorable moments of the Nuremberg trials - the time when the criminals were shown the film "German Concentration Camps, " which documented what court reporters called "the most horrific record of mass slaughter and torture they have ever seen." In front of everyone present in the courtroom, the endless stream of bodies of Jews in the camps piled up by bulldozers to their burial was shown on the screen, "bodies beaten with boots or clubs...". The reporter describes the reaction of the Nazi criminals when the film was screened: "Goering, after three quarters of the film was screened, looked into his lap determinedly until the film ended, Keitel wiped his forehead and covered his eyes. Alfred Rosenberg... nervously picked shrapnel in the guardrail in front of him with his fingernails. Ribbentrop remained calm, shaking his head in disbelief. Hans Frank, the former Governor-General of Poland, wept. Only one of the defendants refused to look at the massive death show. Hjalmar Schacht sat with his body turned to the screen from beginning to end..." The writer also describes the murmur in the courtroom during the screening, when one of the attendees muttered: "Oh G-d, why can't we shoot these pigs now...? ...". The reporter also quotes statements made in court by U.S. Attorney Robert Jackson that history will judge the judges who will sentence them in the most severe trial in history, and also reports on various scenarios that happened behind the scenes in court.
