On the lid, next to the Israeli flag, the first Knesset session with a picture of Herzl in the background, as well as a picture of the UN session and the date of Israel's accession to the UN: 05.11.1949. Among them is a paragraph from the Declaration of Independence [English and Hebrew]. In the background is a map of Eretz Israel. And around scenes from New Israel: army, agriculture, and trade. On the wall of the box are painted the Western Wall, a yeshiva [a rabbi and his disciples study in a courtyard in Jerusalem], the Bikor cholim hospital in Jerusalem [!], Sights of the city of Tel Aviv, the Technion, Carmi Rishon Lezion, the first day at school, various occupations, stars of David, and more.
