Issue of the american Collier's magazine dated November 1, 1941 - The title page features an anti-Nazi cartoon by Arthur Szyk (signed in plate).
Szyk designed the title page with a caricature mocking Adolf Hitler presenting the Nazi government heads as marionettes tied to Hitler's rifle as he tries to defeat the Russians in a card game, at the beginning of the Germany-Russia confrontation in the war. The illustration in the style of Szyk's works in the 1940s in his book "The New Order", refers here to the accompanying article also with anti-Nazi cartoons.
