Jewish treasures from Paris, from the collections of the Clooney Museum and the Consistower, edited by Avigdor Klagsbald, Israel Museum, 1982. Hebrew and English page by page.

Exhibition catalog containing dozens of photographs of Judaica objects from 19th-century French Jewry. It was the first time historians have appeared from the Isaac Strauss collection outside the borders of the French state, in an exhibition on loan from the Clooney Museum in Paris and display at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem.

As early as 1890, there was a catalog of 79 Judaica objects from Strauss's private collection, most of them from the 18th century. In his travels across Europe, he collected, one by one, Jewish religious objects on days when no one was aware of the historical significance of the collection. The items were received at the Clooney Museum in the late 19th century and have been preserved for generations to come.
