An interesting collection of 65 letters from rabbis from the United States, 1940s and 1950s. The vast majority of the letters were sent to Eretz Yisrael to Rabbi Shmuel Shderovitsky, son of the Admor Rabbi Meir Shalom of Bialstock, and include personal matters related to spiritual matters in the United States and Israel. Some of the letters deal with the fate of the remainder of the refugee. Rabbis handwritten and signed.

Rapaport, Rabbi Chaim Neumann, Rabbi David Eisenberg, Rabbi Zalman Rosenfeld, Rabbi Yankel Pink, Rabbi Zeev Zilberberg, Rabbi Y. Waldman, Rabbi Aharon Schuchatowitz, Rabbi Beckerman, Rabbi Efim Cytron, Rabbi Albert Mendelbaum, Rabbi Yitzchak Mondrowitz, Rabbi Yosef Woldberg, Rabbi Yehuda Leib Kagan, Rabbi Yechiel Stern, Rabbi David Posner, Rabbi Nahum Feigambend, Rabbi Zeev Rabbi Rabbi Avraham Menachem Mendel, Rabbi Elimelech Chernovich, Rabbi Bunam Zvulun Hershler, Rabbi Leibel Pinkusevich, Rabbi Israel Halevi Horowitz, and other rabbis.

The recipient of the letters Rabbi Shmuel Shdrowitzky (1907-1978), son of Rabbi Meir Shalom of Bialystok and son-in-law of Rabbi Pinchas Iscar of Pintszew and Sosnowiec. Rabbi and admor of Bialystok, active in "Agudat Yisrael" in Poland and one of the faithful of the home of Rabbi Chaim Ozer Grodzansky, Rabbi of Tel Aviv and Chairman of Agudath Israel in Tel Aviv. During the Holocaust he was sent to the Far East on rescue missions, on behalf of Agudath Israel and the Association of Polish Rabbis, to deal with the refugees in the Far East, Siberia and throughout Russia. Served as representative of the Jewish Agency and the Polish government-in-exile. In later years he also dealt extensively with matters of education and charity, and headed the secret activity of Agudath Israel to send aid to Russian Jews under the Iron Curtain.

The collection has not been thoroughly examined. General condition: very good.
