Letter in the handwriting and signed by Rabbi Avraham M.S. Frankel of Budapest to Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld, regarding the kashrut of the wine of Rabbi Yosef Hertz Halevi from Rishon Lezion, son of the Kabbalist Rabbi Naftali Hertz Halevi - the first Ashkenazi rabbi of Jaffa and the colonies. Shvat 9, 1928.

In his letter, the Gaon asks Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld to inquire about a wine made in Rishon Lezion under the kashrut of Rabbi Yosef Hertz Halevi which was given in 1925, and seeks to find out if no change has been made since then in the status of kosher. At the end of the letter, the genius apologizes: "Apologize for the inconvenience, but it is for the favor of an important Talmid Chacham and a son of saints."

The Gaon Rabbi Avraham M.S. Frankel (1860-1937). One of the students of Rabbi Simcha Bonam Sofer (the "Shevet Sofer"). President of the "Shomrey HaChomot" Kollel in Jerusalem. From 1905 he was chairman of the national bureau of the Orthodox community in Hungary, and the representative of the Jews in the Supreme Parliament of Hungary.
