A particularly impressive and thick album. Among the photographs in the album, the first pages feature some important personalities: Napoleon Bonaparte (Napoleon I), Louis XIII, Louis XIV, philosopher Immanuel Kant, Mozart, William Shakespeare, Benjamin Disraeli, Moses Mendelssohn, Claude of France, and more. Further in the album are photographs of men and noblewomen, children, young girls and elderly women from various noble European families, scientists, photographs of important families, European young girls in traditional attire, and many more.
Album: 24x16x6 cm. Each page contains two albumen print photographs measuring 10x6 cm. Some pages have light tears in the page frame surrounding the photographs. Front cover reinforced on inner side with adhesive tape. Overall good condition.
