The Genius Rabbi Eliezer Silver [1881-1968] Born in Lithuania, one of the first pupils of the genius Rabbi Chaim Ozer Gruzhinski of Vilna, a student of the geniuses Rabbi David Karliner and Rabbi Chaim Soloveitchik. In 1907, he emigrated to the United States and served as president of the United States and Canada Rabbis Association and one of America's leading rabbis. During World War II, he engaged in rescue operations. Held various rabbinical positions in New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Ohio.
