Journey description of two groups who sailed to Eretz Israel on two ships that departed from Marseille on April 27 (the first pages feature drawings of the ship they traveled on). The trip took on the form of a pilgrimage and the group endeavored to tour Jerusalem following the holy scriptures. Upon arriving in Eretz Israel, the expedition toured the holy sites in Jerusalem, and the author describes in detail the places, people, customs and ceremonies practiced in Jerusalem and its surroundings by its various denominations.
