In the pages of the book are Kabbalistic illustrations, combinations names, angel names, and even practical kabalah instructions, and amulets. According to tradition, the book was given to the first human being by the angel Raziel after he was expelled from heaven [including the prayer that the first man prayed after he was expelled from heaven], in which all the secrets of creation were given, the first human being given to Noah, and to Shem and to Abraham, and to Moses until King Solomon was given a book of Secrets.
