Raziel Hamalach - Horodna, [1793]. Stanislaus Agustus Print. Second edition. Fancy copy with original leather cover, beautiful condition.

The earliest Segulah Book for protection and success and for all matters only by holding it at home as printed on the title page : 'A wonderful Segulah for success and blessing ... and extinguish the fire that will not control his home and property. And to keep maternity and Any bad hit won't hurt him, and to keep on the road and succeed in his goods, and to see sons and Grandchildren Smart and intelligent. Whoever has this dreadful holy book with him has his money and his silver and gold in his treasures. And in his sickness and in his trouble he will soon have salvation ... Therefore all the house of Israel scorned silver and scorned gold to buy this holy book even at a great price and keep it in purity ... '

In the pages of the book are Kabbalistic illustrations, combinations names, angel names, and even practical kabalah instructions, and amulets. According to tradition, the book was given to the first human being by the angel Raziel after he was expelled from heaven [including the prayer that the first man prayed after he was expelled from heaven], in which all the secrets of creation were given, the first human being given to Noah, and to Shem and to Abraham, and to Moses until King Solomon was given a book of Secrets. "And a lot of books were handed to him, and it was found to be the most valuable and respected of all."
