The book is accompanied by 250 rare cards, postcards, and rare 'Happy New Year' from the 19th to the 40s from the important collection of Dr. Haim Grossman, which has been carefully built and dedicated for years. In the book, the reader is introduced to the rare and beautiful "New Year" postcards and cards that came out during the peak period of the delivery of "Shanot Tovot" in the Jewish world, accompanied by concise and important descriptions.
From the words Dr. Haim Grossman wrote in the introduction to the book: "At first, the longing was accompanied by a sweet memory of a childhood filled with "good years" carried in the mailman's bag in uniform and her forehead hat. Later, interest in Jewish-Israeli history became a renewed interest in some of those innocent drawn. Then came the recognition that greetings are a broad visual world that dates back to the nineteenth century - and here, at one time, I became a "collector" ... all of which was a constant pursuit and enjoyment of collecting, arranging and sorting, and most of all a vigorous search for missing Greeting Letter to complete a series. .. To all of these has now been added the desire to introduce and share with others this experience as well ...
