Shana Tova' opened card - a scene of a Jewish family around the table [on which a gramophone is lying from the inventions of the period]. In the background is a picture of the great Yiddish writer Shalom Aleichem [Shalom Rabinowitz 1859-1916], a four-line greeting to the New Year in Yiddish. And the inscription "Shana Tova Tikatevu".
According to the motifs, the card appears to have been published by 'Yehudia' in the design of Chaim Goldberg, one of the most important postcard designers of 'Shana Tova' in the early 20th century in Poland. 15x12 cm.[open] Not used (inside card is empty). Very fine condition.
