Sefer Ben Gurion (Yosifon) - First edition in the Ladino language that was published in Thessaloniki in 1890, by the 'Etz Hayimw Society' Yitzhak Saadi Printing Press. The book in its entirety includes the introduction of the Rabad and the rare list of contributors at the end of the book.
Yosef ben Matityahu's book was copied in 953 AD by an anonymous author who calls him "Yosef ben Gurion" (in the history of the Jews of the Great Revolt at the end of the Second Temple period there was indeed a leader named Yosef ben Gurion). The essay reviews the history of the people of Israel during the Second Temple period up to the Great Revolt, and is in fact a copy of the book of Josephus Flavius himself.
