LIVRE BLANC SUR BUCHENWALD - 'The White Book on Buchenwald' - Documents, testimonies, facsimiles - Paris, published by Éditions de la déportation et de la résistance, 1950s. Dedication from 1954 on the title page.

Detailed report containing hundreds of testimonies, documents, and facsimiles about what happened in the Buchenwald death camp in the final months before its liberation, collected by a special French committee after the war. This report compiles survivor testimonies from all segments of the population - soldiers captured by the Nazis, Jews from all classes of society, collaborators with the Nazi regime from various nationalities, Allied soldiers who liberated the camp and described the harsh sights revealed to them, and the condition of the camp's last surviving prisoners, those who died, and more. The report is based on testimonies received at special meetings with former prisoners held after the war, where documents and oral testimonies were presented by participating survivors. There are many testimonies related to the French Resistance movement, testimonies in favor of Marcel Paul, interesting testimonies about alleged preferences of Red Cross personnel of different nationalities during the camp's liberation, and more. An index on each left page shows a photo of the original document, and the right side page shows a printed copy of the document.
