The usual editions of Josephus' writings were published in English, French, and German). Two volumes that include the essays - The Jewish History, The Life of Joseph, The Wars of the Jews, On the Ancestors of the Jews (against Apiyon), and more. The book edited by the English scholar, "Keeper of the Bodleian Library" - John Hudson (1662 - 1719), introduction by the historian Anthony Hall (1679-1729).

Volume I: [20] page, 704 p. Volume II: [1] page, 705-1411, VI p., [21] page. 40 cm approximately. In both volumes, wormholes in the pages of the book, mainly in the white margins. Original leather bindings. Spine is missing and completed with glue. General condition moderate.
