Three France newspaper reviewing General Allenby's entry into the gates of Jerusalem - The day of the British occupation of Jerusalem. December 1917.

* "Le Pelerin", December 9, 1917 [British Occupation Day] surveying General Allenby's entry into Jerusalem, and the fall of Jerusalem without a fight by the British after the Ottomans secretly evicted it. At the newspaper cover, Allenby's image in an army uniform [colored lithographic print]. In the interior pages, photographs of the city of Jerusalem as found by the British as they entered [mainly of the Old City], extensive articles on British progress towards Jerusalem after success in the Battle of Beer Sheva, and extensive coverage of the city of Jerusalem and its historic sites. Title page is detached. stains on the front page .

* "Le Pelerin" December 30, 1917 - An extensive overview of Allenby's entry into Jerusalem, and the conquest of Jerusalem by the British, accompanied by important photographs of Allenby himself and the British soldiers. On the center is a large painting [on two pages] in color showing the heads of different religions coming out to welcome Allenby.

* "Le pays de France" December 5, 1918, summarizes the British conquests of Israel, on the title page a large picture of General Allenby, In the interior pages many photographs.

Attached a leaf from the newspaper "Le pays de France", which Allenby appears at his entry at the Jaffa Gate.
