The recipient of the coins is tells that when he was a child he received the two coins from the Rebbe. The Rebbe gave him the first one on his way to the mikveh, the boy waited until the Rebbe left to see him again. When he left, the Rebbe handed him another coin. The coins were kept with him over the years in a plastic case that read: "The coins the Rebbe gave me in the month of Elul תשמ"א".
