Uprising of Warsaw Ghetto Jews , April - May 1943, edited by Tuvia Friedman, Director of the Documentation Institute. Published by the Documentation Institute in Israel and the Municipality of Ramat Gan, April 1964 - documents and photographs.

An important publication about the Warsaw Ghetto aimed at bringing the Gestapo Commander Colonel Dr. Ludwig Hahn, to trial for his crimes in the ghetto during the Holocaust. The report was published in 1964 after Hahn was arrested by authorities in Hamburg while working with a fake name as a general manager of an insurance company, but he was released on bail. In the years 1961-1964, materials about him were sent to the General Prosecution in Hamburg by the Israeli Police, Yad Vashem, and the Documentation Institute in order to bring him to trial, but the Gestapo Commander responsible for the extermination of half a million Jews in Warsaw still roamed free. This report was published as part of the efforts of Nazi hunter Tuvia Friedman to bring him to justice, as well as other Nazi war criminals who remained free.

The report is divided into three parts: documents and photographs documenting the Jewish fighting in the Warsaw Ghetto during the uprising from the eyes of SS General Stroop; pictures and documents from the ghetto itself taken by the Nazis; and a special chapter about Colonel Dr. Ludwig Hahn and the exposure of his crimes - Hahn was known as the "Warsaw Eichmann" who, during his tenure, caused close to a hundred thousand Jews in the Warsaw Ghetto to die from hunger, disease, and epidemics in the years 1941-1942. On July 22, he sent five thousand Jews from Warsaw to the Treblinka extermination camp every day. In addition, the report contains documents that reveal the crimes of Deputy of Himmler, General Karl Wolff, who gave orders in Himmler's name to send Jews to death camps, and also materials about the crimes of the Nazi State Secretary, Dr. Engineer Albert Ganzenmüller, who was responsible for the Nazi Transportation Ministry - he was the man who provided the cattle cars and trains for the SS to deportation of Jews to the death camps in various parts of Europe. At the time of the publication of this report, all three were still free in Germany, and this booklet was part of the efforts to capture them and bring them to justice for their crimes. At the end of the booklet, there is a special chapter in which Friedman generally describes the method by which the "Sly Nazi Germans" worked to annihilate European Jewry.

Following publications of this kind and the joint effort to capture him, Dr. Hahn was taken into custody several times but without success in convicting him. Only several years later, in 1972, at the age of 65, he was successfully convicted of war crimes by the court in Hamburg and sentenced to 12 years in prison. He was imprisoned in 1975 after an unsuccessful appeal, and several years later he fell ill with cancer and was granted early release in 1983. Died in Ammersbek on November 10, 1986.
