About 70 personal documents and Certificates of Jakub Hershkowitz, a native of Vienna, who managed to escape from Austria via Marmarosh (Romania) and immigrated to Eretz Israel during the Holocaust years. In the collection a documents and Personal certificates from the Holocaust period with Nazi stamps from the period of Nazi rule in Vienna, documents and certificates from the beginning of the 20th century from his youth, as well as personal documents from the period after he immigrated to Eretz Israel.

Among the documents that appear: 'tax Certificate' dated December 20, 1938 with the seals of the German Reich, Transition document after leaving Vienna dated 23 January 1940 Signed by the Immigration Management Brno (Czech Republic) branch, transit permits and additional certificates, a marriage certificate of Haskowitz held in Vienna dated March 19, 1936, photographs of Hershkovitz and his family, an early designed certificate (rare in itself) on behalf of an upholstery cooperative and bedding manufacturers in Vienna given to him after passing the master's test and authorized to trade in fabrics - signed December 13, 1924 (41x48 cm), As well as a 'graduation certificate' studies in this field from 1922.
