10 original large cartoons with the character of Srulik made by the cartoonist Adar Drian - ink on paper - signed. He drew the cartoons for the "Davar" newspaper, and among other, two newspaper clippings appear as they were published next to the original cartoons. Israel, the 1960s.

On the cartoons are instructions for printing, as well as the official ink stamp of the "Davar" newspaper.

Adar Drian was born in Bucharest, Romania, in 1931. In his youth he began creating cartoons, which he published in the satirical newspaper Pitigoiul and others. In 1964 he immigrated to Israel with his family and worked as a graphic designer and published many cartoons on a variety of Israeli topics in the largest newspapers in Israel - Ma'ariv, Devar, the children's newspaper "Ha'aretz Shelanu", HaOlam Hazeh, and was also the graphic designer of the newspaper "Maariv Lanoar". Between the years 1983-1989 he served as the graphic editor of the monthly "Et-Mol". He continued working in Maariv until 1991, when he returned to live in Romania, where he created a daily cartoon for the newspaper Libertatea. In 2004 he returned to live in Israel. Died in 2015, at the age of 84.

Large cartoons, average size 32x21 cm. Very good condition.
