Admission to the coronation ceremony of Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom, held at Westminster Abbey on June 2, 1953.

On the front of the card are the details of the line, and the designated place. on the back - the road map to the hall.

Queen Elizabeth II was born on April 21, 1926. In January 1952, Elizabeth set out with Philip on a tour of Australia and New Zealand, but on their way to Kenya, her father died of lung cancer on February 6. Preparations for her reign began immediately and from the place of residence in Kenya Elizabeth established her first name as her royal name. Canada first officially declared its recognition of the Queen's rule and the next day an official announcement was made in the UK. The official coronation ceremony was held at Westminster Abbey on June 2, 1953. The ceremony was held on this date despite the death of Queen Mary, Elizabeth's grandmother (on her father's side), just ten weeks before the date set for the ceremony. It was at the request of Queen Mary before her death, that the coronation ceremony of her granddaughter will not be postponed. Elizabeth's rule spanned seven decades, during which time the world in general and the British Empire in particular changed their face. In February 2003, during her tenure, Elizabeth went on to serve the terms of her four predecessors together: Edward VII, George V, Edward VIII, and George VI. As of October 13, 2016, she is the oldest head of state in the world. Her tenure is the longest in the history of the British monarchy and during which fourteen British prime ministers served under her.

12x10 cm. Very good condition.
