James Earl Jimmy Carter [born October 1, 1924] was the 39th President of the United States between 1977-1981. Prior to his presidency, he served as governor of the 76th State of Georgia between 1971 and 1975, after serving two terms in the Georgia Senate between 1963 and 1967. Since his departure from the White House, he has been active in promoting human rights, founded the Carter Center and won the 2002 Nobel Peace Prize. In this book, Carter describes his social and political doctrine.
