An important letter in the handwriting and signature of the Ga'on Rabbi Yechezkel Abramsky regarding his novellae in the Tosefta, London, Av 1949.

In his letter the Gaon writes about his feelings in the editing of the Tosefta: " All the difficult beginnings and with great difficulty arose in the editing of the first issue of tractate Beitzah, with its renewal. I have corrected him, I have improved and perfected him, and my heart is not with me, if everything is tested and experienced' . And adds that his goal in Tractate Beitzah was to write only the halachot, since he did not come to present all his novellae on the Tosefta: "then the Tosefta will not be prominent, And I to publish the study of the Tosefta all my My tendency ."
Later the Gaon writes about his leg recovering from her pain. And adds a story of his rabbinical wife, who was busy marrying a young woman who was a maid in their home.

The Ga'on Rabbi Yechezkel Abramsky [1886-1976] At the beginning he studied at the Novardok Yeshiva where he approached the "grandfather of Novardok" and at his request he even studied with his sons. He also studied at the Ramiles Yeshiva and in the "Kibbutz" of Rabbi Chaim Ozer Grodzinski in Vilna. He was the rabbi of Slutsk, Smalian and Smolbichi. In 1923, in Slutsk he replaced Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer, who had to flee because of persecution by the Communist regime. In 1925 published the first part of his commentary on the Tosefta. At the beginning of the winter of 1932 he settled in London and began serving as rabbi of the Machzikei Hadas congregation, and in 1933 he was appointed Dayan at the Rabbinical Court in London and two years later as head of the city's rabbinical court. During these years he continued with his great enterprise - the interpretation of the Tosefta - "Chazon Yehezkel". In this context, the Gaon testified on himself once: "Even in the Siddur of the Tosefta, it is difficult for me to deal with difficult and complex laws,If hashem had not supported me, I would have shut myself up in the At first ...
