The Royal Library in Parma was established in 1761. Over the years it developed and expanded greatly, and in 1816 the library gathered the collection of Hebrew manuscripts of the Parma researcher, Giovanni de Rossi. Today, the collection of manuscripts in Pharma includes about 1600 Hebrew manuscripts. The collection in Parma is unique in its kind and importance, alongside the Vatican Library, the Bodleian in Oxford and the British Library. Before us one part of the publications dealing with the Hebrew manuscripts in the library.
