Ceramic designed plate commemorating the inauguration of the Amsterdam Jewish Hospital at 98 New Achtergracht Street by members of the DE JOODSCHE INVALIDE, inaugurated on December 14, 1925. The manufacturer: Petrus Regout Maastricht.

The Jewish Hospital was built through a private initiative, without any assistance from a municipal, state, or Jewish community. The money was collected in special charities dedicated to this purpose by an 'INVALIDE' group as shown in the caption on the fund. Very rare.

Diameter: 23.2 cm. Few stains, good condition.
