A rare booklet published by the Center for the Workers of the Land of Israel Party, which was published in December 1947, in which Ben-Gurion spoke on the establishment of the State of Israel immediately after the UN resolution on November 29, and a few months before its establishment.
At the beginning of the booklet, Ben-Gurion states in reference to the UN resolution: "The wonder has arisen - the nations of the world have counted and Decided to establish the State of Israel." In the booklet, Ben-Gurion outlines how he sees the Jewish state that will be established in great detail, in its domestic and foreign policy, in the great aliyah enterprise, and in the future of the Palestine Workers' Party after the establishment of the state. "The new turning point in Jewish history places a heavy responsibility on this generation and on all the Jews living in our generation - we are the last generation for slavery and the first generation for redemption. This is a great privilege and it is a duty several times greater ...".
To the best of our knowledge, this is the last publication of Ben-Gurion that came out before the State of Israel was established.
