Four "Shana Tova" postcards with Zionist motifs. Germany and United States, early 20th century.

A girl holds in her hand a sign with Shana Tova greetings in Hebrew and German, the top part reads: "He who chooses Zion and builds Jerusalem" and "He will give you a year of wealth and life", and a Star of David at the top of the postcard. At the bottom is an illustration of eight oil candles and sheaves. Probably Germany, early 20th century.

A postcard with Shana Tova greetings in Hebrew and German, A box of letters and birds, Magen David, sheaves and eight oil candles, local publisher in Austria, sent by mail in 1909. On the back of the postcard is written in Yiddish and English.

Shana Tova Postcard Published by Hebrew Publishing Co., New York, Tishrei 1910 - Israeli flags and a picture of Herzl leaning against the railing with the background of the Tower of David. Yiddish inscription: "סטאציאן שער השמים" and Shana Tova greetings in Hebrew and English. Sent by mail. On the back of the postcard are handwritten Shana Tova greetings in Yiddish from the sender.

Shana Tova Postcard published by Hebrew Publishing Co., New York, Tishrei 1910 - An angel holding a scroll with Shana Tova blessings in Hebrew and wishes for 120 years from heaven in Hebrew. On the right is a Magen David and the inscription "Zion". Not mailed.
