Hillary Clinton visited Jerusalem on October 27, 1994, as part of a tour of the Middle East. She was the first lady to visit the city since 1967. During her visit, Clinton met with Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and Foreign Minister Shimon Peres. In addition to her visit to the Western Wall, she also visited the Church of the Holy Sepulcher and the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum.
