Report on the development of Jerusalem – between the years of 1948-1950 in the first two years since the establishment of the State of Israel, published by The Jewish Agency for Palestine Department for the Development of Jerusalem – photographs, data, maps, diagrams. Internal publication – typewritten print and duplicated by stencil – September 1950. Rare. At the beginning of the report there are two large unfolded maps of “Jerusalem today” (September 1950, one sized 60×28 cm, and the second 35×25 cm).

The report deals with the rehabilitation of the city from the damages of the War of Independence, rehabilitation of roads and public works in downtown Jerusalem (Ben Yehuda Street and surroundings), development of industry, economic services, special activities for absorbing immigrants, construction and renovation of the city’s cultural buildings, establishment of parks and gardens, many data related to development plans of the capital of Israel, and more.
