An early and interesting letter in the handwriting and signature of Rabbi Moshe Sternbuch. Addressed to Rabbi Yechiel Yaakov Weinberg, author of The "Sridey Esh".
At the beginning, Rabbi Sternbuch writes that he did not have time to review the Torah innovations he sent him regarding halitza, and asks about the well-being and health of his elder ['I am very worried about the condition of the elders Shlit'a]. Later, the genius writes innovations in the laws of the Sukkah ['I will write what I said this week regarding the Sukkah], on woman's obligation in the Lulav Mitzva, and in the Yeshiva of the Sukkah.
The genius Rabbi Moshe Sternbuch Shlit'a was born in the year 1926. Rabbi of the ultra-Orthodox community, one of the greatest Poskim of our generation, and author of "Tshuvot VeHanagot" Responsa, 'Moadim Uzemanim' and many other books. In his youth he studied at the Torat Emet Yeshiva in London with Rabbi Moshe Schneider and at the Hebron Yeshiva in Jerusalem. During his studies in Jerusalem, he approached to Rabbi Yitzchak Ze'ev Soloveitchik of Brisk and Rabbi Dov Berish Weidenfeld of Tschebin (who later gave approbation to his book "Moadim Uzemanim"). He later emigrated to South Africa and served as rabbi of a Haredi community in Johannesburg. In the year 1989, with the passing of the ultra-Orthodox community - Rabbi Yitzhak Yaakov Weiss, Rabbi Sternbuch was appointed Vice President and member of the ultra-Orthodox Tribunal.
