Five photographs of Alexander Koller and of the "Ohel Shem" School, which he founded and managed in its early years, as well as a photograph of the school building and its students at the beginning.

Dr. Alexander Koller [1886-1948]: Eretz israeli Educator and director, born in Galicia. Principal of the Commercial High School and principal and founder of the "Balfour" and "Ohel Shem" Gymnasiums. In 1921 he immigrated to Eretz Israel, and was one of the first settlers in the Ramat Gan colony. About ten years later he founded the Balfour Gymnasium as the first private school in the city. Koller even built his building and soon it became one of the leading institutions in the country with great popularity. In 1934, he founded the "Ohel Shem" private school in Ramat Gan. In his first year, the school was housed in a small building on a hill on Bialik Street, and the number of students reached fourteen. Dr. Koller ran the school for about five years. Attached, the agreement in which the equipment of the 'Ohel Shem Gymnasium' was transferred to the possession of the Ramat Gan local council, signed by Koller, and the members of the council.
