11 postcards of Zionist congresses, Bezalel, JNF - Yosef Budko, Ben Dov, and others. Early 20th century
1-2. Two official postcards issued at the Zionist Congresses - both designed by Yosef Budko - the Twelfth Zionist Congress [1921] - "Not by force or power but by my spirit" - Riemer No. 36, and the Seventeenth Zionist Congress [1931] - "No one like me will escape" - Riemer No. 65. Both were sent by post.
3. "For Remembrance" - Souvenier - a rare postcard on which three small photographs of the greeter taken and designed by Yaakov Ben Dov are affixed in the designated places in his studio in Jerusalem. On the back of the postcard is a greeting to the photographed aunt: "A remembrance for a lovely aunt from her friend, Hemda Jungerwirt Jaffa."
4-7. Four Bezalel postcards with the scenes of artists in the school: "Professor Boris Schatz" in the school yard, a father and his sons returning from the day's work in the orchard - Foto Y. Ben Dov a student of "Bezalel" Jerusalem - a rare postcard published by Lebanon - was sent by post in 1911, students of the carpet department at Bezalel, a photographic postcard of the entrances to the "Bezalel" courtyard.
8. The "Hurva" Synagogue in Jerusalem - postcard published by Y. Ben Dov.
9-11- Three postcards donating trees issued by the main office of JNF in the name of Ram Jungerwirt - the trees were donated in honor of being saved from falling down the stairs by his father. Tishrei and Iyar 1920.
Some of the postcards have stains. general condition good.
