Casablanca, Morocco, [c. 1945]. Rare.

The story of saving the Moroccan community from Hitler "שכבר לקח כמעט את כל יהודי אירופה ועשה בהם כחפצו ורצונו".
With the liberation of Morocco on November 11, 1942 from the claws of the Vichy regime, the fear and anxiety gave way to an enormous outburst of joy: The Jews of Morocco composed poetry, psalms of praise and parodies in the style of holy books and familiar prayers, praising in them the just war of the Allies against the Nazi and Italian enemy and the miracle of salvation of the Eastern communities. Already on the first day of liberation, the Jews of Casablanca celebrated the Purim holiday by reading "Megillat Hitler" composed by the Hebrew teacher F. Hassin, and later by reading "The Haggadah of Hitler" composed by Nissim Ben Shimon (see Dynastiy Auction 14 Item 70). The last actual composition published in Morocco documenting the miracles of World War II is the composition before us "Megillat Hamilchama VeYisrael" which unlike its predecessors was written entirely in Hebrew. The author was well versed in the events and horrors that occurred. From the introductory words, it is evident that the author knew the horror in its full intensity: "אויבינו האכזר שבקש לכלות כל זרעינו חלילה והצליח בראשונה בהריגת כחמשה מליונים מבני עמנו".
The author describes the miracle from the plot to annihilate, kill and destroy all the Jews precisely as Haman decreed, Germany's invasion of Poland and the other countries, the decrees against the Jews and their deportation to camps, until the English and Allies prevailed and won the war.
Hitler is called here "the second Haman", who in his book "Mein Kampf" wrote to destroy all the Jews. And sent books to all his allies, "גם מארגוני הגיסתאפו שלח... ובכל מקום אשר דרכו רגלי הנאצים הפושעים הורע מצבם של כל היהודים", the turning point came with the intervention of the English: "בלילה ההוא נדדה שנת האדון רוזוולט", here is described the invasion of the Allies to Normandy and the halting of the German forces, "ויצו עוד על מארישל סטאלין על צבאות הרוסים האדירים לתקף את בירלן בירת הגרמנים האכזרים, ותפל בירלן בירת הגרמנים בידי הרוסים הנודעים", and then came the salvation: "ואת היטלר הנאצי טבע ונטמן בארץ הוא ואיוה בראון אשתו, גם גויבילס שתה סם המוות רועץ היא וכל ביתו". The author concludes the Megillah with a final blessing: "ברוך שנתן כח ועצמה לבעלי בריתנו להחריב את ערי גרמניה הגאיוניות להשמיד את חייליה העצומים, ולהרבות את חללי הרוצחים הנאצים, ברוך נוקם את נקמתו". At the end of the story of the miracle, the author brings the names of the Nazi war criminals Hitler, Goebbels, Himmler, Julius Streicher, von Ribbentrop, and others. And a song praising the Zionists: "הציונים עמדו על משמרכם ... כמו שאמר טרומפלדור רבכם על גאולת הארץ תהרגו אויביכם"...
