Rabbi Chaim Ya'akov Safrin (1892-1967) a great scholar and holy man, great in the wisdom of Kabbalah. Son of the Admor Rabbi Avraham Mordechai Safrin of Borislav-Komarna, served as Admor in Ungvar. In 1937 he came to the United States and was one of the most important Admorim in New York. in 1962 he immigrated to Jerusalem and established his Beit Midrash. He composed about forty books in handwriting and from them only the books were printed: "Beit Ya'akov", "Beit Avot", "What is this", "Shabbat Shalom and blessed". 3 leaves missing from author's introduction pages.Missing spine. fine condition.
