Two letters by Rabbi Eliyahu Meir Bloch, Rosh Yeshivat Telz.

* A letter signed by Rabbi Eliyahu Blach and signed by his brother - in - law Rabbi Mordechai Katz, Tammuz 23, 1943, was written to Rabbi Yehuda Leib Zeltzer with the approval of a letter adapted to the wording of the rabbis from New York. Official stationery.

* A letter in the handwriting and signature of Rabbi Eliyahu Meir Blach, 1949, was written to Rabbi Aharon Shurin regarding the strengthening of the Telz Yeshiva. Official stationery.

The Gaon Rabbi Eliyahu Meir Bloch [1895-1956] One of the leaders of the Telz Yeshiva in Lithuania. In 1940, in the midst of World War II, he managed to escape from Lithuania with his brother-in-law, Rabbi Chaim Mordechai Katz, and arrive in the United States. And so he wrote after hearing about the bitter news of the destruction of Telz and the destruction of his family:
"My first work immediately after I found out about the terrible crises should be immediately the work of the Torah. I stand for the work of the people and for the service of its saints I am right, because what is considered the trouble of the individual compared to the duty of the general ... ". The two settled in Cleveland, Ohio, where they re-established the Telz Yeshiva and developed its institutions.
