The beginning of the booklet reads: "Thus passed the days, months, years, of the thousands of best Ukrainian women and girls ... in the German concentration camps ... to all those who sacrificed themselves for the struggle for the independent Ukrainian state." Ukrainian. No publisher or printer note. The last page reads: 'The income is intended to help sick political prisoners.' The 1940s. Rare.

In the booklet ten color paintings, of harsh scenes from the Ravensbrück women's camp. Each scene is depicted: the morning Order, public punishment for a woman who did not have the strength to work, inability to sleep between dirt and lice, under the supervision of the SS - threatening large dogs, returning from work, and more.

The Ravensbrück camp was during the Third Reich a concentration camp in the Templin region of the German state of Brandenburg, it is considered the largest women's camp in Germany. Living conditions in the camp were unbearable. Thousands of women prisoners were shot to death, strangled, gassed to death, buried alive or enslaved to death. All the inmates of the camp, including small children, were forced to work hard, which often resulted in death. An estimated 50,000 women perished there.
