A collection of legal documents relating to the Yeshiva of the Kabbalists Sha'ar HaShamayim' during the severe economic crisis that the yeshiva went through in the years 1935-1936. In those years as a result of a continuing economic deficit, the heads of the yeshiva, Rabbi Chaim Leib Auerbach and Rabbi Shimon Zvi Horowitz, who founded and headed the yeshiva from its inception, were forced to transfer the ownership of the yeshiva to others. The collection before us includes the documents transferring ownership of the yeshiva, and other documents dealing with the new status of the yeshiva during its difficult period.

Among: 'Declaration and Commitment' - an interesting document in which the geniuses Rabbi Chaim Leib Auerbach and Rabbi Shimon Zvi Horowitz - the founders of the Sha'ar Hashamim Yeshiva transfer the ownership and management of the yeshiva to Rabbi Leib Shtuv, Rabbi Avraham Moshe Rabinowitz and Rabbi Moshe Weinstack. Also appearing, handwritten leaves of one of the yeshiva's principals detailing the transfer of ownership of the yeshiva and the new conditions; a stencil printed document regulating the new status of Rabbi Chaim Leib Auerbach in the yeshiva as a monthly salary and not as an actual director; Documents of transfer of authorization to the new principals. Draft in Sentsil with handwritten corrections about the new order of the yeshiva, and more.

About 22 documents. Data in an original folder from the 1930s. general condition good.
