21 colorful postcards from the "Collection de costumes" series depicting the inhabitants of Constantinople on their various classes in the attire typical of each class. All postcards are published by Max Fruchtermann, Constantinople (Turkey), early 20th century.

In the postcards: the king and his ministers, the guards, the priests, the judges, and the ordinary citizens according to their status and areas of occupation, the inhabitants of the village versus the inhabitants of the city, and more. Each class has its characteristic clothing, a robe and a hat adapted to its social status. The figures are depicted in the body postcards in Arabic and French below each figure.
