After the "Shir HaMa'alot" and mercy prayers, verses asking for mercy in times of trouble appear. On page 8 the "Father of Mercy" unique prayer: "Our hearts are faint because of the evils that have overtaken our brethren in Germany... oh, have pity on your children who long for Thy salvation day by day, and nulify all cruel decrees against them...". On page 10, "K-l Maleh Rachamim" for the Jews who were murdered in Germany: "to our brethren who perished during the revolution in Germany...", and other prayers.
The prayer was composed after the absolute establishment of the dictatorial Nazi regime in Germany. Between the months of June and July of that year, all parties were removed from the Reichstag by violence, threats and legislation. On July 14, enacted the "Law for the existence of the Nazi Party as a single party" which declares that only the Nazi Party is allowed, and any other party is prohibited and out of law." And the persecution of the Jews was marked as the main goal of the Nazi regime.
