In the margin of the poster it is written: “PROFESSOR EINSTEIN ARRIVES IN NEW YORK CITY Enroute to California, where he will spend the winter months continuing modern science, his renowned renovations of modern science, is Professor Albert Einstein, famous scientist and proponent of the Theory of Relativity, shown in photo with his wife as he was greeted on arrival in New York”.
At the same time in 1930, when Einstein came to visit the United States, he registered a patent for the invention of “Einstein’s refrigerator”, a project on which he worked with Leo Szilard. This photograph that appears as an extremely rare poster, we have not found another photo from Einstein’s reception in New York in 1930.
