A postcard issued by the World Federation for Peace and Freedom. At the forefront is a photograph of "Atomic Scientists" led by Albert Einstein, along with Victor Weiszkopf, Leo Szilard, Philip Morse, and other scientists, signing a statement that reads: "The atomic weapon necessitates the establishment of a world government with appropriate authority for maintaining peace." On the right side is a quote from Einstein's "recent remarks": "The idea that security can be achieved through national armament is a utopia. Therefore, mutual abandonment of violence can only be achieved through a world federation." On the back of the postcard is written: "Only a world federation can achieve peace and freedom - if our words have convinced you but you cannot offer any financial contribution, send us this postcard as a sign of encouragement and support and spread the federalist idea." There is space left for personal details.
