DACHAU .... Matricule 77.164 By camp inmate Jean MIGEAT - Diary of an inmate in the Dachau death camp, published about a year after his release. September 1946. First edition. From the earliest evidence ever published about what was done inside the Dachau death camp. copy with dedication and signature of the author.

horrific diary in which the author describes his experiences in the Dachau death camp. From the moment he was captured by the Gestapo soldiers who assured him that he would return home that night, arriving at the camp along with 900 other prisoners executed before his eyes, the appalling conditions in which he stayed in the camp, the quarrels over the meager soups, forced labor under the scorching sun, and the freezing cold at night. The torture he endured in the camp, the bitter fate of his comrades, the great look forward every day after receiving the rumor that the Allied army was approaching the camp, the story of inmates trying to escape from the camp and more. At the beginning of the booklet, the author writes that his sole purpose is to reveal the truth about the atrocities committed in the Nazi death camps in order to help in some way to the scars carried by the camp survivors after the war.

At the beginning of the booklet is a congratulatory letter from General de Gaulle (print) stating that he has read the book, and noting its importance. The author dedicated the book to all his friends who perished in the Dachau camp.
