5 issues of newspapers that were published on key dates in the Dreyfus affair from its inception, and towards the final acquittal of Dreyfus - France, 1895-1899.

* The L'ILLUSTRATION issue of January 12, 1895 - on the title page is a picture from the 'Humiliation Ceremony' in the courtyard of the École Militaire ('Famous Sword Breaking Ceremony') in which all his ranks were removed from Dreyfus, and he was humiliated in front of all French soldiers.

* Le Petit Parisien dated February 24, 1895. On the title page is a picture of Dreyfus being taken to the Île du Diable after being accused of treason. The subtitle below the picture: "Dreyfus the traitor in the fortress ..."

* Le Rire dated August 15, 1899. On the cover of the issue is a large colorful cartoon by C. de leandre. On the inside pages are cartoons mocking Emil Zola - of the great supporters of Dreyfus.

* Soleil du Dimanche issue dated September 10, 1899. On the title of the issue, Dreyfus is seen exiting the Rennes Military Court building after being charged with treason under mitigating circumstances and sentenced to ten years in prison - another step towards his total acquittal. within the pages are pictures of scenes from within the court.

* Soleil du Dimanche issue dated September 3, 1899. within the pages are many pictures of scenes from the courtroom of Rennes.
